The past few seasons, we’ve seen Chanel turn its runway show into a casino, an airport terminal and a grocery store. For its spring ’16 couture collection, Paris’ Grand Palais was turned into a garden, featuring a wooden set that looked like a dollhouse.

Models first wove around the grassy area on a path and ended in the three-tier dollhouse. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Chanel show if it wasn’t star-studded: Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid were featured in the show. Their friend Cara Delevingne sat front row with her dog.

As for the shoes, models wore sculptural cork wedges in metallic shades and in black with a cap toe. The shoes complemented a range of sophisticated garden-party styles. Jenner wore a black lace dress with cutouts and embellishments, while Gigi Hadid’s intricate tea-length dress was topped off with a sheer cape that many of the models wore.

Diane Kruger, Gwyneth Paltrow and Alice Dellal also sat front row.
